DOT testing is federally regulated and required for safety-sensitive employees under Department of Transportation guidelines, following strict procedures outlined in 49 CFR Part 40. Non-DOT testing is not federally regulated and is typically requested by employers or individuals for general workplace, legal, or personal purposes, allowing for more flexible testing options.

What is the difference between legal and non-legal paternity testing?

Legal paternity testing follows a strict chain of custody process, requiring verified identification and documented sample handling.
