Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our services, process, and what to expect during your visit.

What is the difference between DOT and non-DOT testing?

DOT testing is federally regulated and required for safety-sensitive employees under Department of Transportation guidelines, following strict procedures outlined in 49 CFR Part 40. Non-DOT testing is not federally regulated and is typically requested by employers or individuals for general workplace, legal, or personal purposes, allowing for more flexible testing options.

How does ink fingerprinting work?

Customer will schedule an appointment, provide valid identification, and have their fingerprints captured electronically or via ink, depending on requirements. Once collected, fingerprints are securely transmitted through the Fieldprint system to the appropriate agency for processing.

How does the background check process work?

We conduct secure background checks. Candidates complete consent through our platform, and we manage the process from start to finish, delivering results efficiently.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and secure electronic payments. We also offer flexible payment options through Afterpay and Klarna, allowing you to split your payments into manageable installments for added convenience.

What is the difference between legal and non-legal paternity testing?

Legal paternity testing follows a strict chain of custody process, requiring verified identification and documented sample handling. Results can be used for court, child support, custody, or immigration purposes. Non-legal (peace of mind) testing does not require chain of custody and is intended for personal knowledge only, meaning results cannot be used in legal proceedings.

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended and can be conveniently scheduled through our website prior to arrival to ensure timely service. Walk-ins may be accommodated upon request; however, availability is not guaranteed.
